Are you blogging legally?

I am new to the blogging world and had no idea that I needed legal pages to protect my blog and myself. There is SO MUCH for a new blogger to learn and I was already overloaded with information. Creating my own legal pages for my blog was definitely not on my to-do list. BORING! And I didn’t have a clue where to start. But, I kept researching and learning that I would need to legalize my site in order to protect myself from lawsuits, fines, or having my website shut down. I don’t speak legal jargon and I didn’t want to pay a lawyer a ton of money to prepare my pages for me, so what’s a girl to do?

The Legal Bundle

In some of my research, I learned about The Legal Bundle, created by Amira, at A Self Guru . I decided to ask a fellow blogger that I trust how she protects her blog, and she referred me to Amira as well. I had already found Amira’s website by clicking on a link that I found through another blogger, and someone I trust recommended her legal expertise too, so I purchased her templates. I’m so glad I did! It saved me a ton of headaches. Amira is not only a lawyer, but she is also a blogger, which gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling about purchasing The Legal Bundle from her. On top of that, her templates were the most affordable option that I found and she has tons of great reviews. I’m a sucker for a good review!

After purchasing her templates, it was so easy to download them and fill in my own information. She gives step by step instructions and spells it all out. It saved me a ton of time and put my mind at ease knowing my blog would now be protected. Thank goodness I didn’t try to write my own legal pages. That would have been a nightmare, and I probably still wouldn’t be finished. Now, I can focus on other things. I strongly suggest that unless you’re an attorney, you should not try to write your own legal pages either.

What Legal Pages Do You Need?

So, what pages do you need for your blog? The 3 legal templates that you absolutely need are a Privacy Policy, Disclaimer Policy, and Terms and Conditions Policy. These 3 pages protect you and your readers. You can read more about these pages here, but I’ll give you a quick rundown of each.

Privacy Policy-A legal statement that informs the visitors of your website how you collect and use their personal information.

Disclaimer-Limits your legal liability for the content you publish on your website.

Terms and Conditions-Your website rules-what you permit and what you do not permit on your website.

I’m so thankful that I found Amira and The Legal Bundle. Her pages are very reasonably priced and user friendly. I encourage you to legally protect your blog and purchase The Legal Bundle for yourself. You will also receive 9 Bonus Legal Templates and Clauses, Lifetime Free Updates, and Private Membership Access to a friendly and supportive Facebook group if you need any help at all getting your pages set up.
